Abstract

Progress toward the demonstration of room- temperature continuous wave (cw) operation of the blue-green II-Vl semiconductor diode lasers has been rapid, especially after the introduction of the ZnMgSSe quaternary system in the separate-confinement-hetero structure (SCH) laser design.1,2
