Abstract

We describe the fabrication of a novel type of saturable absorber mirrors based on polymer embedded carbon nanotubes and we demonstrate their performance in mode-locking an Er/Yb:glass laser: 68fs (45fs Fourier limit) at 85MHz repetition-rate.
