Fabrication and Characterization of Carbon Nanotube–Polymer Saturable Absorbers for Mode-locked Lasers

Abstract

A method to fabricate Carbon Nanotube-doped Polymer composites is proposed and the merits of adding dopants to the material are analyzed. Passive mode-locked lasing is demonstrated using a thin-film CNT-based saturable absorber.
