Abstract
A rapid test which has previously been used in testing the perfection of Schmidt cameras during construction has been used in the testing of a large, high speed parabola during figuring. Calculations are made which quantitatively show the state of perfection of figure obtainable by means of this test. Conditions are derived to show under what circumstances the test shows the maximum degree of correction.
