Abstract
Excess photon detachment (EPD) occurs when an electron is released from a negative ion with an energy corresponding to the absorption of more photons than where L is the length of the flight, m and Te are the photoelectron mass and kinetic energy in the center of mass frame, θ is the angle between the velocity vectors of the electrons and the photons, P2k are the Legendre polynomials, and β2k are coefficients to be determined by our experiment.
