Designing a 12-fold Photonic Quasi-Crystal Fiber for Enhancing the Efficiency of Second Harmonic Generation of 400 nm Wavelength

Abstract

We design a 12-fold photonic-quasi crystal fiber for enhancing the efficiency of second harmonic generation at 400 nm wavelength. We report SHG relative efficiency as 179.26 % W−1cm−2 at for an optimum pitch of 7 μm.
