Second Harmonic Generation using Plasmonic Quasi Crystals

Abstract

Plasmonic quasicrystals with designable spectral response have been demonstrated with large transmission enhancement [1]. We show that the corresponding plasmon mediated local field is strong enough to generate second harmonic over broadband.
