A Novel FBG Sensor Configuration for Long-distance Measurement

Abstract

A novel FBG sensor configuration is proposed and demonstrated by using different broadband light sources for the interrogation of FBG over 75 km of fiber. A 60 dB effective dynamic range was demonstrated.
