Abstract
A NOLM incorporating Highly NonLinear Fiber is implemented in a 42.66Gbit/s Dispersion-Managed RZ loop, yielding Q-factors of 12.7dB and 11dB at 10,000km distance in single-channel and in WDM environment with five 200GHz-spaced 42.66Gbit/s channels, respectively.
