Abstract

We demonstrate all-optical limiting of a 160-Gbit/s OTDM signal by using spectrally filtered optical solitons. Signal input power tolerance for improving Q-factors is 3.6 dB. Q-factors after 230 km transmission were improved by 1.8 dB.
