Abstract

New type of Positive Medial Dispersion Fiber with suppressed dispersion as 10ps/nm/km and enlarged Aeff about 150µm2 (P-MDF150) has been developed successfully. Ultra large equivalent Aeff as 100µm2 was obtained keeping low dispersion slope and low accumulated dispersion in total.
