Influence of Donor Impurity Concentration in a Semiconducting Mask Layer for Super-Resolution Near-Field Pre-recorded Disk

Abstract

We have investigated the read-out mechanism of super-resolution ROM disks having a semiconducting active layer containing donor impurities. A shift of the near-field detection threshold is observed as donor concentration increases.
