Super-resolution near-field optical disk with a thermal shield layer behind recording layer

Abstract

A structure of super-resolution near-field phase-change optical disk with a thermal shield layer behind recording layer was proposed and studied theoretically and experimentally. It shows that thermal stability can be improved with this structure.
