Abstract

Polarization diffractive optical element formed by the photoalignment of a polarization-sensitive polymer liquid crystal is presented. Specifically, we introduce a method for reducing the incident angle dependence of a polarization grating using the biaxial anisotropy of a material, and a geometric-phase lens having both a lens function and a wavefront aberration correction function.
