Abstract

We theoretically unveil the mode-locking principle in microresonator-filtered laser cavities and predict chirped bright soliton with normal-dispersion microresonators. With ultrahigh-speed time magnifier, we experimentally observe real-time soliton rain harmonics and the first soliton Newton's cradle.
