Design of a Digital PID with High Bandwidth for Locking DFB Laser to an Absorption line of CH4

Abstract

Analog PID controllers, although offering higher bandwidth than digital PIDs, generally suffer from a lack of features such as variable parameter tuning. We report on enhancing bandwidth of digital PID and their application in methane absorption line stability.
