Abstract
CO2 waveguide lasers are capable of producing high intensity beams. Their high efficiency has been demonstrated under excitation. Nevertheless, due to the small emissive area, poor output power is achieved. The phase coupling of several such lasers seems to be the way to obtain large power together with high efficiency.1 We present the results by using three channels phase coupled self-focusing waveguide CO2 lasers.
