Abstract

A flashlamp pumped Ti:Al2O3 laser with six- flashlamps was developed. When a grazing-incidence grating resonator with relatively small incident angle of 82° was applied to the flashlamp pumped Ti:AI2O3 laser head, we obtained the maximum laser energy of 120 mJ and the linewidth of ~10pm. For more efficient operation, we attempted to use an Integrated Master Oscillator Power Amplifier resonator. Design considerations of this resonator is described.
