Abstract
Transitions of the type 3p6 3d8–3p5 3d9 in Sb25+ have been identified in the spectrum from a plasma produced by irradiating a planar foil target, using line-focused laser irradiation. The wavelengths in the range 44–62 Å were determined with an uncertainty of ±0.007 Å. Based on the 45 observed wavelength combinations, energy-level values were established for 9 levels of the 3p63d8 configuration and 12 levels of the 3p53d9 configuration with an uncertainty of 200 cm−1. The wavelengths and energy levels were compared with previously observed and predicted values.
