Abstract
Optical absorption and emission intensities of the ion in crystal were investigated. Based on the Judd–Ofelt theory, the following spectral parameters were obtained: parameters of oscillator strengths
and radiative lifetime, 293 µs; and quantum efficiency 18.7%. The fluorescence branch ratios were calculated:
and The value of stimulated-emission cross section was calculated.
