Recommendation to the Editor

After completing the manuscript ratings, you will select your recommendation to the editor from the following options:

• Manuscript Accepted
• Manuscript Rejected
• Accepted with Revisions
• Other
• Major Revisions Required

The exact wording of these recommendations will vary between journals.

The recommendation you provide should align with your comments to the author.

The “Other” option may be used in the rare case that your feedback does not fit any of the other categories.  Examples might be if you feel the manuscript would be more appropriate for another journal, or if you feel you have a conflict of interest upon completing the review.
