The 17th China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE 2015) will be held from 31 August—3 September at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center.
Tens of thousands of visitors from across China and the world are expected to attend the festival, which is the biggest optoelectronics exhibition. The event takes place over 110,000m² with over 3,000 exhibitors representing the latest in optics, laser and infrared applications, optical communication, lens and camera modules, LEDs and smart cities.
Highlights of this year's festival include LED Tech China, a section that will gather together global manufacturers in sapphire processing, crystal growth and applications.
An inaugural International Forum on Sapphire Market and Technology will be held in the LED Tech section, with attendance from key market players including Monocrystal, Rofin Lasag, 3M, Huawei, Fuyuan Tech and many others.
The Lens and Camera Module Zone is ever-popular, with an exhibition area of 30,000m2. Over 1,000 manufacturers will be in the zone to display their latest products.
The China Smart City innovation Industry Conference is another key event. In recent years this event has developed into an important way to explore cutting-edge smart cities and smart tech. Exhibits will cover big data, cloud and IoT in areas including 3D printing, manufacturing and hardware.
CIOE continues to be a vital bridging event linking optics stakeholders across the world. This year's festival will feature pavilions from the US, Canada, Japan, Germany and South Korea. An Optoelectronics Global Conference (OGC) will take place within the festival with contributions on infrared technology, fiber-based technology, bio-photonics, optical communications and precision optics.
