Modification of an Atomic Absorption Unit for Dual Beam, Background Correction Measurements

Abstract

A simple modification is described which makes dual beam background correction measurements possible on a Varian-Techtron atomic absorption spectrometer. The modification is described and data are presented which demonstrate the validity of the measurements obtained.
