Correction and Analysis of Turbulence Effects in Time-Lapse Images Using Optical Flow Registration

Abstract

Optical flow processing is applied to time-lapse image sequences collected in the field for atmospheric refraction research. The pixel displacement estimates are used for turbulence mitigation and the investigation of spatial and temporal turbulence effects.
