Non-invasive Blood Lipid Monitoring using Shortwave Infrared Spatial Frequency Domain Imaging (SWIR SFDI)

Abstract

We present a portable dual LED SWIR SFDI system for the investigation of blood lipid alteration after a meal. Initial results from tissue simulating phantoms and postprandial blood lipid measurement on healthy volunteers are described.
