Abstract

We have built and tested a nonlinear etalon consisting of an epitaxial CdTe film grown on a single crystalline highly polished InSb wafer. The CdTe film was covered with a 10 nm thick aluminum film. Both the metal film and the polished InSb substrate act as mirrors. They form the optical cavity of the etalon.
