An Ultra-dispersive Optically Controlled Atomic Prism

Abstract

We have experimentally demonstrated an ultra-dispersive atomic prism with the highest spectral angular dispersion ever shown (six orders of magnitude higher than glass prism). Its dispersion is optically controlled by a coherent driving field.
