Abstract
The absorption characteristics of an exciton-biexciton system are examined for quantum dots by single-dot photoluminescence spectroscopy and theoretical calculation based on the density-matrix method. Exciton-biexciton coherent interaction is found to markedly vary exciton absorption spectra.
