Towards Multicolor Quantum Correlations in On-chip Frequency Combs

Abstract

We report strong near-shot-noise-limited correlations of >20 dB between spectrally asymmetric signal and idler modes of a silicon nitride microring based frequency comb, and propose improvements to extend it into the quantum regime.
