Abstract

A cut-wire metamaterial based narrowband polarizer was designed by finite element method, fabricated by electron beam lithography, and characterized by terahertz time-domain spectroscopy. We demonstrate an extinction ratio of more than 18 dB for 0.83-0.89 THz.
