Spectral Management of Eu2+,3+ Emission in Sol-Gel Fabricated One-dimensional Photonic Crystals

Abstract

One-dimensional micro-cavity resonators, constituted of Eu2+,3+ doped silica layer inserted between two SiO2/SnO2 Bragg mirrors, are fabricated by sol-gel method. Spectral management of Eu2+,3+ emission by varying the angle of detection is presented.
