Abstract

We analyze and experimentally demonstrate a new two wave mixing interaction using dual frequency signal beams and its application to the amplification of microwave signals. A differential gain γΔ = 17 is obtained in BaTiO3 when the signal beam frequencies are separated by fO = 2.2 GHz.
