Abstract

The plans for the OMEGA Upgrade Project include over 2000 additional optical components, including over 60 polarizers for use at 1054 nm and 120 mirrors at 351 nm over a range of angles including 9° and 60° incidence as upper and lower extremes. A large number of these optics are to have a major dimension of 27 in. Plans are being made to coat up to three of these largest optics at once in a planetary system.
