Highly Sensitive and Temperature Insensitive Fiber Bragg Grating Based Liquid-Level Sensor

Abstract

A Fiber Bragg grating based temperature-insensitive, simple all optical liquid level sensor employing Archimedes’ law of buoyancy is reported. Sensor exhibits high sensitivity of 71.6 pm/cm with resolution of 0.014 cm with highly reversible response.
