Compact Resonant Fiber-Optic Gyroscope with a Broadband Light Source

Abstract

A compact broadband source-driven resonant fiber-optic gyroscope prototype is assembled and tested. The angle random walk is 0.0037°/√h and bias stability is 0.0069°/h for a 175-m long fiber coil of 5.7 cm diameter.
