Fiber optic jerk sensor in monitoring earthquake response of high-rise building

Abstract

This paper proposed an earthquake response monitoring technique of high-rise buliding using fiber optic jerk sensor. The results show that the fiber optic jerk sensor can monitor the jerk response of different seismic waves.
