Abstract

We report the experimental demonstration of pulsed pump optical parametric amplifier for all-optical time de-multiplexing of 160-Gb/s signals. 14.5-dB of conversion gain with less than 2-dB power penalty were achieved for de-multiplexed sixteen 10-Gb/s tributaries.
