Abstract

Applications of integrated optical technologies in signal processing have attracted attention; several devices have been proposed and demonstrated experimentally, such as switching networks, AD and DA converters, rf spectrum analyzers, and multi- channel analyzers. Picosecond optical gate and sampling techniques have been proposed,1,2 and the response of the guided-wave modulator was measured by using the mode-locked laser pulse.3
