Abstract

The nonlinear absorption and refraction coefficients CdSe nanocrystals (D~4 nm) in toluene (~3.2 × 10-7 mol/L) were estimated to be ~4.6 × 10−15 W/cm and ~2 × 10-15 cm2/W using a femto-second single beam Z-scan nonlinear spectroscopy.
