Experimental Demonstration of Simultaneous Optical Wavelength Interchange with a Nonlinear Photonic Crystal

Abstract

We present results of the first experimental demonstration of simultaneous optical wavelength interchange with a two-dimensional quadratic nonlinear photonic crystal. Fabrication details and performance parameters of a 1535-1555 nm wavelength interchange lattice fabricated in lithium niobate will be highlighted.
