5 MW peak power 10 ps fiber-solid hybrid laser from an aberration self-compensated double-pass two-stage Nd:YVO4 amplifier

Abstract

A delicately designed double-pass two-stage Nd:YVO4 amplifier is reported that produces 5 MW peak power when seeded by a 0.1 mw fiber laser at repetition rate of 100 kHz with pulse duration of 10 ps.
