High-repetition-rate, Nanosecond, Self-Q-switched Cr,Nd:YAG Microchip Laser for Stable Vortex Beam

Abstract

Stable vortex beams have been generated in a self-Q-switched Cr,Nd:YAG microchip laser with the pulse width of 8.5 ns and repetition rate of 113 kHz. The lasing threshold for optical vortex is just 1.2 W.
