Conflicting Experimental Results Observed from a Nd:YVO4/ Cr4+:YAG passively Q-switched microchip laser

Abstract

We observed a stable passively Q-switched laser operation from a Nd:YVO4/ Cr4+:YAG microchip laser with its Q-switch repetition rate flattened with the increase of the pump power. The result conflicts with that published previously in the literature.
