Abstract
We discuss the quantum statistical properties of Raman and hyper-Raman scattering. For hyper-Raman scattering the analysis is based on the Heisenberg equations where are the annihilation (creation) operators in the interaction picture for laser (L), Stokes (S), anti-Stokes (A) and vibration phonon (V) modes, γj are damping constants, are the Langevin forces, pj, j = L, S, A are external pumpings and γ and κ are the Stokes and anti-Stokes coupling constants, respectively.
