Programmable Silicon Photonic Microring Resonator for Nonlinear Applications

Abstract

A compact thermo-optically programmable silicon photonic microring resonator has been demonstrated for nonlinear applications. Both resonant wavelength and Q-value of the microring resonator could be programmed. Theoretical prediction has been validated with experimental results.
