Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate an ultracompact optically-controlled tunable microwave photonic filter based on a nonlinear silicon microring resonator. By adjusting the pump light power, the central frequency of the filter can be tuned from 5.27 to 12.47 GHz. Experimental results to prove the concept are provided.
