Abstract
The polarization insensitive behavior of Bragg reflectors is demonstrated using birefringence compensation in silicon nitride waveguides with symmetrical sidewall modulation. The designed phase-shifted grating exhibits a common wavelength selectivity for both fundamental transverse modes.
