Simple Ray-Tracing Model for a Rough Surface Including Multiple Scattering Effects and its Application

Abstract

We developed a ray-tracing model for rough surfaces that conserves energy and includes a shadowing/masking effect as a result of multiple scattering. We used the method to simulate a light guide lighting system.
