Abstract

The analysis of x-ray emission is one of the most popular methods for extracting information from laser-produced plasmas. In this vein, the ability to generate x-ray synthetic spectra to be compared with experimental results is a key factor for the understanding of the physical processes involved in short-pulse experiments.
