Mid-infrared gas imaging with direct absorption spectroscopy

Abstract

Methane leaks down to 0.25 ml/min can be located and quantified by a single concentration image with a resolution of few ppm*m using direct absorption spectroscopy in combination with mid-infrared imaging and image processing methods.
